Objects Of The Society & Its Activities

To impart academic, technical & vocational education to students of all religions.
To provide free education for less fortunate and underprivileged female children in rural/urban areas.
To put efforts for the education & nourishment of the helpless children with a view to make them capable, competent & deserving and to establish health centres.
To establish for rural people sports complex, hospitals, dispensaries, libraries for intellectual development, reading rooms and recreational centres.
To establish asylums for homeless children & women; to impart training of small scale & cottage industries to women in polytechnics, to set up child development centres.
To develop cooperative feelings through collective efforts & actions, to do charitable work like cleaning & sanitation work of villages collectively and to spread & publise social welfare and to develop tendency of creative work within it.
Candid efforts to integrate rural and urban culture for the nation wide development.
To fulfill the above said aims & objectives by establishing links with institutes working at state & national level with similar objects.
To arrange & manage hostels for teachers & students.

We support schools in rural areas where getting education for some children especially girls is a dream come true.
We provide financial aid as well as advisory support to these schools.
Arrange guest lectures for teachers as well as students in rural areas schools so that they can overcome their weaknesses and enhance their strengths. Highly qualified and experienced teachers, Principals and other professionals together ,definitely make a difference to these schools to provide them a wide spectrum of learning.
Provide free coaching to under privileged children.

Organize free medical & health check-up camps.
Arrange visits to rural areas by Doctors for medical check-up as well as for creating health awareness.
Organize check-up camps for Polio patients in villages.
Organize Yoga camps to promote integrated growth of mind, self-mgt of behavior, thought & attitude.
Organize Eye donation, Blood donation camps.
On August 1st, 2005 “Medical camp” for handicapped was organised by Shanti Shiksha Samiti, Inderpuri at Shanti Devi Kanya High school, Fazalpur in collaboration with ‘Delhi Bal Vikas Parishad’. The camp was headed by 10 Doctors in which 60 handicaps, who came for check up from nearby villages, were checked and their necessary requirements were distributed to help them.

Organize state level competition for different sports like Tae Kwon Do, Sqay Martial Arts etc.
Support and sponsor talented students who participate in state as well as National level competition.
Promote different sports like-Martial Arts, Shooting, Athletics etc in rural areas so that girls apart from academics they can explore new avenues in sports too.

Organize painting competition for students so that they can enhance their creative skills.
Running Music, Martial Arts, Skating, Art & Craft, Dance etc classes throughout year.
Organize cultural fests like:-Diwali Mela, Winter Carnival, Republic day celebrations etc for our members as well as for our students and family members learning various activities run by the society.
Tree plantation, Social interaction, Fancy dress, Dance, Painting competition are few other activities run by the society.
Samiti organises various functions and honor people in various professions for their distinctive achievements.
Due to regular power cuts solar power setup of 5KW was installed in the school premises in the year 2017.

Shanti Devi Kanya Inter College and Shanti Siksha Samiti, Inder puri arranged Diwali Mela, on 2nd Oct., 2009 at C-Block, Community Centre Naraina Vihar, New Delhi. All the Girls enjoyed this Mela and also helped the Samiti Volunteers in organizing all the activities of the event.
Shanti Shiksha Samiti, Inderpuri took initiative and was successful in bringing noticeable changes in the village with the help of ‘Bharat Vikas Parishad’ and ‘Jindal Family Trust’ under the project ‘Apna Gaon Vikas Ki Aur’. Under this project they built streets flooring, fixed house number plates after numbering the houses, walls were built around village pond, all houses in the village were painted pink to give uniformity and lot many other activities were conducted.
Ch.Harbans Lal memorial trust organizes Inter school Kabbadi competition and other track and field events. Around 10-12 schools from other villages take part in the event. For these annual sports events our school girls eagerly wait and take part with full enthusiasm. Tournament (kabbadi) started in year 2017.
